Welcome to another exciting year at Van Horn High School, home of the Falcons!

As your principal, I want to personally thank you for the unwavering support you continue to show our students, staff, and programs. The strength of our school lies in the heart of this community, and we are deeply proud to serve the families that make up this rich and resilient part of Eastern Jackson County. The tradition of excellence at Van Horn is built not only on our history but also on the shared commitment of generations of families who care deeply about education, character, and opportunity.

At Van Horn, we take great pride in the success of our students—both in the classroom and beyond. Our academic programs are thriving, with more students earning college credit, industry certifications, and graduating with a clear path to their future. Whether it’s through AP courses, career and technical education, or innovative STEM and arts programs, Falcons are achieving at levels that make us proud.

Outside the classroom, our Falcons soar high in athletics, the arts, leadership, and service. From district titles on the field to inspiring performances on the stage, our students continue to prove that determination, talent, and teamwork make a difference.

This year, we remain focused on fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and growth, where every student is seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.
